Angelina Mazza is a writer, editor, producer, and fact checker based in New York, by way of Montreal. She is a contributing editor at Slate and a culture fellow at Salon.

She writes about the arts, pop culture, and the digital world. Her work appears in Slate, Literary Hub, Defector, Salon, The Creative Independent, Longreads, Paste, Maisonneuve, The Rumpus, The Poetry Foundation, and elsewhere.

Her fact-checking clients include The Walrus, Via Magazine, Maisonneuve, Reader’s Digest Canada, and Toronto Life. She also fact-checks book projects and reads poetry submissions for Underblong.

Angelina holds a BA from McGill University and an MA in Cultural Reporting & Criticism from New York University. She is obviously a Cancer.
