Angelina Mazza is a Brooklyn-based culture writer and arts reporter from Montreal. She is a 2026 National Critics Institute fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.

She covers books, television, fandom, and romance media for The New York Times, Vulture, LitHub, Slate, The Creative Independent, Defector, The Rumpus, and elsewhere.

She was recently a contributing editor on Slate’s advice desk. She also fact-checks magazine journalism and books, and she produced Not Now, But Soon, a podcast for Issues in Science and Technology.

Angelina holds an MA in Cultural Reporting & Criticism from New York University and a BA from McGill University. She is, obviously, a Cancer.
